Quick answer

ENF is a grade, not a material: particleboard, MDF or plywood that reaches the strictest limit, ≤0.025 mg/m³, half the E0 board limit (≤0.050). Most of the difference is in the glue.

A grade. Any of these three boards can reach it:

What makes an ENF board different from an E0 board?

E0 board

Limit ≤0.050 mg/m³
Conventional urea-formaldehyde resin glue

ENF board

Limit ≤0.025 mg/m³
Eco adhesive or formaldehyde-free resin

Even formaldehyde-free glue does not make a board literally zero formaldehyde. Ask for the lab report.

Is ENF board particleboard or MDF?

Either, or plywood. ENF is a grade: ask for material and grade separately, in writing.

Does ENF grade cover loose furniture?

Only if stated in writing. Sunpina’s commitment covers built-in cabinets; for loose furniture, ask each piece’s grade.
